NURSING SCHOOL

Here we come Phoenix Arizona! You read right We are moving to Arizona this weekend so that I can start school in July! It's a scary thought to think that we won't be living in Utah anymore but at the same time I'm so glad that we are going to go somewhere new! As nice as Utah is Colton and I are excited to go somewhere on our own away from family so that we can learn how to rely on each other. Family is great but we need to take a page out of the scriptures, you know the one that says leave your parents and cleave unto your spouse. I love that scripture! I'm so grateful to the lord and all the many blessings that he has blessed Colton and I with. He has always been with me through the good and the bad. The gospel makes bad people good and good people better! With that I'm striving every day to do the things that I know I need to be doing, keeping the commandments. Thanks be to God!

Long, Lost Blogger

 Its been to long...... So here is a recap ( without pictures, sorry) of the last 4 months since the holidays.! Christmas was wonderful and loads of fun! I had only a few days off between work but that was ok with me, cause my co-workers and my residents are my family away from home. We finally got a new projecter for our theater room and now we don't have to spend so much money going to the movies!

 Fast forward to school! I was taking stats and patho, but decided I should drop patho after I got my first test results back. So I picked up Mt. biking (why I did this I will never know), soccer and fitness center! so yes pretty much I'm super good looking ( which is hard to believe because I was so good looking before these classes).
 Besides school, work, and crazy family drama, Colton and I are pretty boring people! We have been having alot of fun though between the two of us and Max! Whom by the way is no longer a cute little pup with blue eyes. He is big, messy, loud, and annoying! We love him anyways!
 My birthday was WONDERFUL! I was engulfed with the best of friends and family! It was a relaxed and very pleasant day! I got everything I wanted and I already had everything that I needed. I'm so glad to have the gospel in my life! How wonderful it is to know that I have a Heavenly Father who loves me and is always there. I'm grateful for his plan of Salvation and the joy it brings to my life! I'm grateful for my savior  Jesus Christ and for his amazing life. I'm grateful for my husband and his testimony of the gospel, and his kindness towards other's (including myself). Also for my wonderful family!

Holiday Suckers

I just wanted to show everyone my first attempts at making cake pops, which didn't turn out totally awful. I made snow men pops which look more like Jack the pumpkin king ( nightmare before Christmas) and also reindeer but those came out the way I wanted them to! Enjoy my pics!

Family!

WOW! I sure did love stake conference this past sunday. Everything that was talked about was everything that I needed to hear. I'm so grateful for a Heavenly father who says all the right things at exactly the right time! I'm so grateful for my wonderful husband and all that he does to make us both happy!

Silly Uncle Sam

I sure do love my family! My uncle Sam is coming down for Thanksgiving before he leaves to go back home to the motherland! He just found out that Colton and I got a dog and he doesn't like it. He says we need to work on human communication and not animal communication bahahahahah......... He is funny! Anyways it has been a crazy week. I have decided not to go onto Facebook until I get an A on the rest of my chemistry test. So if your trying to get in touch with me you will have to do it the old fashion way and give me a call ( so I can work on my human to human communication) if you don't have my number then we aren't as great as friends as you think! Well I have some descent grades but when I have fantastic grades then I will start up my Facebook again!

LIfe's UNAVOIDABLE issues!

I say this everyday and I don't think that anyone really takes me seriously but here it goes anyways, If I didn't have the gospel in my life I would be a totally different person. There is so much turmoil and fog in my life that if I could run away from it all I would. When I really want to run away and I've made up my mind that I'm going to I always think about the Savior; I think about the turmoil and fog that he had in his life and that when it came down to it he didn't run away and he didn't complain he just DID IT! He did it for me and he did it for everone, even those who don't care for it and don't want it. Well guess what? I DO WANT IT!!!!! And thats why I go through the fog and the turmoil and will continue ( I'm sure ) to go through it until my time on this earth is no more. I know he knows its because of him I do all that I do, and now I want everyone else to know its because of him I do what I do ( The good anyways )! So to all of you who were or is mean to me, pre-judged me, gossiped about me or my family, or did stuff intentionally to hurt and cause pain, I want you to know I forgive you, BUT know that I don't forgive you for you! I do it for me and because its what I have been asked to do!

Maximus

Ya so I thought I would be able to blog once a week but since I do have a life it most likely wont happen that often! So since the last time I wrote my husband and I decided that besides wanting babies we also want to have a dog! So we went crazy and sprung for Pitt bull, cause if we're going to do it we got to do it big! His name is Maximus but we just call him Max and he is super cute. He is also lots of work and lots of trouble! He is starting to sleep through the night which is great because I hated the whole 2 hour thing. He is good about going to the bathroom outside but if we make him walk to the bathroom he decides he would just rather go in the house! Oh well its a good thing he's cute cause if he wasn't I would have given him back the night we got him. Besides that school is crazy but i'm doing GRAND in all my classes so far so hopefully I can keep that momentum going, which means I probably won't be on here as much. Oh well....... Anyways we went to the big rival game last week which was fun for about 20 min. It was nice to see Adam and all of his friends and teammates but it was brutal being at the game. By brutal I don't mean because they had a bad night, ( even though yes that was unfortunate ) I mainly mean how awful it was being there and hearing all the negative things that the fans had to say when we were being beat. Maybe its because i'm a family member and I know the players and the coaches, but WOW I never didn't want to go to another game after hearing all the bad things the fans were saying about the players! And it wasn't the Utah fans that I heard it was all BYU fans, which was extremely sad; especially when most of the people who are BYU fans ( a large majority ) are all members of the church and should be representing the church in all that they do, say, etc.. I just don't feel as though that is what was taking place that Saturday night. If we as members claim to live the gospel and incorporate it into our daily lives then we should live as we preach and there is no exceptions! But hey I could be wrong maybe it applies to everything besides sporting events?  ( I doubt I'm wrong ) People just need to be better and that includes me of course!
